Metasource Cards

(September 2022 Update: The Metasource Cards have been temporarily suspended and will resume production at a later date. Citing the bear market and slowdown of NFT purchasing activity.)

Metasource Cards are unique digital collectibles that earn msource tokens passively, tokens used to participate in our Metasource Games economy, including Castles NFT.

Metasource Cards are fun digital collectibles, each is uniquely designed and only sold once, belonging to a single owner.

Bonus earnings are rewarded for owning matching factions and types.

There are 4 card types:

  • Fantasy

  • Cyberpunk

  • Metaverse

  • Space Opera

There are only 52 factions per a type. The factions were established in the year 2021 and now repeat based on the original week released. Example, in batch 1 of January 2021 "Flame and Sunder" was the Metaverse faction. That faction has re-appeared in Batch 53 of January 2022. And it will again in January 2023.

  • Current base earning rate per card: 100 msource (30 for pre-launch phase)

Here are the following earnings per matching type and faction:

  • Bonus per matching card type: +1%

  • Bonus per matching faction card: +10%

Creation Schedule:

The amount of cards released weekly decreases by 4 each year. 1,040 cards were released in the year 2021. 832 cards will be released in the year 2022. Here is the full release table:

*After 2025 4 cards are released per a week for a total of 208 a year.

**Factions re-occur once a year from their original sale date.

*** The supply of Barons in the Castles NFT game matches the same supply number of Metasource Cards.

Release/Availability Schedule:

Each month we release batches of new Metasource Cards in mystery packs! Each pack includes a random Metasource Card and a free Minstrel Land Pack from our Castles game collection.
